Matt Petley-Jones is a Canadian artist and the founder of Petley Jones Gallery, established in 1986 in Vancouver. Born in Edmonton, he graduated from the University of Alberta in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts Special in painting.

Under his leadership, the gallery has become a leading venue for contemporary and historical art, offering works from renowned artists such as Emily Carr, Jean-Paul Riopelle, Lawren Harris, David Hockney, Picasso, and Tom Thomson. It has established itself as a prime destination for Vancouver Art Purchase, providing a curated selection for collectors and enthusiasts.

In addition to managing the gallery, Petley-Jones is an accomplished artist whose paintings have been exhibited widely. He is also the nephew of the late Canadian Impressionist painter Llewellyn Petley-Jones, whose works are featured in the gallery.

Petley-Jones remains actively involved in the art community, serving as a member of the South Granville Gallery Association. His contributions have helped shape Vancouver's dynamic art scene, making Petley Jones Gallery a central hub for fine art.
